Henry Cavill wants to star an RDR2 movie

Henry Cavils is an actor who has earned some notoriety by declaring a fan of several video game franchises. We have seen this mainly with the The Witcher series for Netflix. Along with this, the person in charge of Gerald of Trivia has pointed out that he would love to star in a similar adaptation focused on Red Dead Redemption 2.

During an interview for the recent premiere of the second season of The Witcher, Cavils was questioned by the possibility of acting on another adaptation of a video game. While at the moment there is no something confirmed, the actor revealed that he would love to work in a game movie that Rock star gave us in 2018. This was what he commented:

Well, that's complicated, because you're linking an IP and a company, which is something complicated to do, so I certainly do not want to corner me with that, but there are many games out there... In fact, I started playing Red Dead Redemption 2, I know I arrived a little late to that party, but I started playing it, and I'm really enjoying it. Then, I think it would be fun to convert something like that in a movie.

Red Dead Redemption 2 came to the market in 2018, and was awarded several prizes. While the popularity of this title is not compared to what is seen with GTA V, Rock star's work is loved by a great audience, who will surely be happy if the wishes of Henry Cavils come true.
